MC 240-S68 reed switch sensor is designed for use in conditions requiring increased sensor durability, eg in the case of installation on garage and industrial doors. The sensor consists of a reed switch with the function of an NC switch in an aluminum housing and a strong magnet also placed in an aluminum housing. The strong magnet ensures a long closing distance. The element designed to be mounted on the floor can withstand the weight of the car.
